Fort Gaines Historic Site with Dauphin Island Park and Beach Board and the 6th Alabama Cavalry Buccaneers will hold a 2-Day event. Come and experience a day in the life of a pirate from the 1700’s as they pilfer and pillage Fort Gaines, there will be Flintlock Pistol duels, Pirate – Tug- War, Swashbuckling sword play, Cannon Firing and much more.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 15
Fort opens to public at 9 a.m.
Flintlock pistol duels – 10:00 a.m.
Pirate Tug-O-War – 11 a.m.
Treasure Hunt for kids 12 and under – 11:30 a.m.
Lunch at 12:00 noon
Pirate Tug-O-War – 1 p.m.
Treasure Hunt for kids 12 and under – 2:00 p.m.
Flintlock pistol duels – 3:00 p.m.
Pirate Tug-O-War – 4:00 p.m.
Cannon firing – ongoing throughout the day.
